-Rochester feels it is very important to the
customer to receive the best in service, reliability, and commitment. I believe
that this attitude is one of the most important contributors to our success and
to the success of the customers we serve.
For
the race set of sails we suggest the Flex Aramid cloth. This fabric is
a multi-direction mylar that is very durable and will last a long time
on a boat this size. I personally use this product on my boats and
have been very happy with it.
For
the cruising set we will use Dacron that we get from Contender Sail
Cloth. It is all manufactured in the US. The cloth manufacturer will
spec out the cloth weight for each sail.
All
kites will be made of .6 Supercote which is also a product by
Contender. We do not need to use 3/4 oz. cloth any more do to the
advances in the new lighter weights. These will be the all around
spinnaker for the boat and will handle anything that you put it up in.
Main- 1 full batten, 3 standard battens, 1 reef, bag, cunnningham, headboard, slides, insignia, numbers, and stripes
Flex Aramid retail- $1898

All these sails will be manufactured in the Ullman loft in Cleveland Ohio.
